The Wasser program is designed to investigate the properties of water derived from the interactions between water molecules. It also models the process by which water takes other molecules into solution. Developed originally for research, Wasser has been adapted for student use by adding a graphics interface with controls. Wasser originally ran on advanced workstations. Now, however, personal computers are fast enough that such programs as Wasser should be available to a wider audience.
